Oggi è un giorno speciale per questo blog, perchè dalla Tailandia arriva il millesimo visitatore dal 5 di gennaio, data in cui ho installato il contatore di visite ed ospiti che trovate sul lato destro della pagina. Non potevo immaginare che così tante persone visitassero questo sito da quando, a marzo del 2008, ho iniziato questa meravigliosa avventura: persone da Europa, America, Asia ed Africa che hanno una passione per i caschi da pompiere o un semplice interesse per questi oggetti che salvano la vita. La salvano alle persone che li indossano, i Vigili del Fuoco, e attraverso di loro salvano la vita delle persone che hanno bisogno di aiuto, che quando sentono avvicinare le sirene sanno che gli uomini con i caschi da pompiere stanno arrivando... Grazie a tutti, miei ospiti: adesso so che il mio lavoro è utile per così tante persone.
Ricordo che sono sempre alla ricerca di caschi di Paesi ancora assenti dalla collezione; al momento ci sono circa 70 elmi da 48 Paesi, e la maggior parte di essi deve ancora comparire su queste pagine. Ci sono ancora così tanti caschi che mi devo procurare! Sono anche alla ricerca di informazioni sui servizi antincendio delle differenti nazioni che possano essere inseriti nei post: contattatemi se avete domande, suggerimenti e commenti. Buona visita!

Today is a very special day for this blog, because from Thailand came the 1000th guest since the 5th of january 2010 when I put on the counter "guests" that you find on the bottom right side of the page. I couldn't imagine so much people visiting this site when I first began, in march 2008, this wonderful adventure: people from Europe, America, Asia and Africa that has the passion for fire helmets, or just a simple interest for those lifesaving objects. They save the lives of people wearing them, the firefighters, and thru them they save the lives of people awaiting for help, that when hear the sirens approaching know that the men with the fire helmets are arriving... Thank you all, my guests: now I know that my work is useful for so many people.
Remember that I am always looking for helmets from places that I still don't have in my collection; right now there are circa 70 helmets from 48 countries, so many of them still to be shown on these pages. So there are still a lot of helmets that I need to acquire!
